Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) - Updated
The Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) is part of an ongoing effort by Fannie Mae
and Freddie Mac at the direction of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, to provide a common industry dataset to support the CFPBís Closing Disclosure.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will begin requiring the UCD XML file for all loans delivered with a Note date on or after September 25, 2017. The XML file must be in the MISMO Version 3.3.0
Reference Model format. It is important that you ensure your systems/vendors will be ready to support this requirement. See Fannie Maeís

Flagstar Bank Delivery Requirements
Flagstar will require compliance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Macís UCD mandate for any loan delivered for purchase with a Note date on or after Monday, September 25, 2017 for the latest
CD provided to the borrower(s). If after submission of the UCD, a redisclosed CD is issued to the borrower(s), correspondents must provide UCD results for subsequent disclosure(s) issued.
Flagstar will require submission to both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on all loans that are eligible for sale to Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac.

on September 15, Flagstar will not be requiring successful results as a condition for purchase until further notice. We strongly recommend that our customers utilize this opportunity to research
transactions not resulting in a successful response to make the necessary adjustments and corrections.

Rural Housing Fiscal Year 2018 Funding
USDA-Rural Development issued a
on September 19 asking lenders to review the Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program (SFHGLP) Conditional Commitment process.
During the lapse in funding, Flagstar Bank will continue to purchase USDA Guaranteed Rural Housing transactions.
